The Takeaway
Well, then... this is it.
I said I would do it, and here it is.
I've named this blog Jaye Patrick's Takeaway because that's what it is, a Takeaway; although I believe Americans call it a 'takeout'. Whatever. The point is the same.
It is here that I'm going to post stories and, like a takeaway, some are good nibbles, some... not so good. But instead of running around, demanding your money back, these takeaways are free - to a point. I own the copyright, so if a story is lifted, I'm gonna have to hunt you down with Mr Knuckles and Sunglasses Jim (aka, the lawyers).
Now, before the weekend is over, a story will be posted. I'm not sure which one, or how often I'll do this. Once a week? Once a fortnight? Once a month?
Most are fairly short, for that quick read.
Comments will be enabled for your opinions, unless they are rude, pornographic or plain ugly. You don't have to be nice or sacchrine sweet; I'm open to suggestions on improvements and I promise, I won't take it personally.
What I hope is that you'll take something emotional away from reading this blog: good, bad, but not indifferent.
The works will cross a number of genres: science fiction, fantasy, science fantasy, thriller, horror and maybe a leetle bit of romance. There could be others, I still have to sort through my piles of stories.
The first story will be up in a couple of hours... I hope.
Later, I'm going to add excerpts from books I've written or I'm working on.
